I want to use the supplied free marble hearth,
do I need to have expansion joints cut by my installer ?
Expansion joints must be cut at the time of installation.
If your builder is concerned about cutting the hearth they may email
us for advice, it is a simple process using the correct tools.
Can you help with an installer in my area
and how much does installation cost ?
Yes, we are able to provide details of an installer
anywhere within the UK. The cost will vary according to the amount
of work involved, for example if your old fireplace may need to
be removed. Estimation of the cost is around £200-£300.
Most installers within our database are Corgi registered and therefore
can fit gas fires. Also, installers have the facility to sweep the
chimney before installation.
Delivery Notes
If your driveway is gravel please have a piece
of plywood or a couple of scaffold boards available so the crate
can be wheeled off the tail lift of the lorry (otherwise the pallet
truck will sink in the gravel).
If your property is a flat, please have two people available on
the delivery day because the driver is not insured to deliver other
than to your outside door, driveway or into your garage.
The delivered products must be checked at the
point of delivery, we can not retain responsibility of breakage
once the products have been delivered. If (very rare) there is damage,
you should sign the delivery note as damaged and we will replace
the products as soon as possible.and arrange collection of the crate
with the damaged goods.
